Last year, disgruntled fans finally banded together to hold a class-action lawsuit against Nintendo – over the high frequency of controller drift developing in Joy-Con controllers. Well, today marked a new development in the legal saga, although it wasn’t necessarily a pleasant one for Nintendo.
Earlier this year, the law firm Chimicles, Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D) filed a class-action lawsuit against Nintendo for the notorious “Joy-Con Drift” issue faced by many Switch owners. While the case hasn’t gone into full-swing yet, it looks like Nintendo could be sinking into hotter waters fast.
A report from Vice has claimed that Nintendo is taking action in response to complaints of Joy-Con drift.
