Bandai Namco Entertainment has made a huge announcement for Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version (Drum ‘n Fun) in Japan today.

First, let’s get down to the most important announcement. Japanese Youtube celebrity Hikakin has been added into the game as a character. This in-game character, along with the songs BunBunJanke and HIKAKIN, are part of the Hikakin DLC pack for free from now till January 31, 2019.

Secondly, Bandai Namco Entertainment is giving away a Platinum Don-Chan in Japan. In order to receive one, you need to check something called “POP” at any brick-and-mortar game retailer in Japan. Scan the QR code shown on the POP with your smartphone and you’ll be taken to a page which shows you the download code for Platinum Don-Chan. Runs from November 29, 2018 to January 13, 2019.
