Interesting news – Taiwan has recorded its best ever amount of memory cards exports to Japan for an April month in April 2020.
In April 2020, Taiwan exported 1.97 billion dollars worth of memory cards to Japan, which is a 17.5% increase on a year-on-year basis. Macronix, the largest manufacturer of memory cards and semi conductor technology in Taiwan, has also posted its highest ever sales for an April month (64.4% year-on-year increase).
The main reason that contributed to the high number of memory card exports is all thanks to the Nintendo Switch, which has become extremely popular in the last few months.
