Takehiro Izushi Retires From Nintendo After Working For 43 Years

Takehiro Izushi, a 65 year old employee who has worked for Nintendo since 1975, has retired from the company.

Izushi was known for working on Nintendo’s early video game projects such as the Game & Watch and Color TV Game. In recent years, he was involved in developing games such as Metroid Fusion, Wario Land, Fire Emblem, and even Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

We hope Izushi enjoys his well deserved retirement!
