Earlier this week Techland CTO Pawel Rohleder sat down with Wccftech to talk about their upcoming game Dying Light 2, and revealed a bit of their plans for the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, Rohleder confirmed during the interview that Dying Light 2 would not be heading for Switch any time soon, as its engine is a bit too much for the console to handle. However, Rohleder went on to hint that the Polish developer may have something in store for the Switch later in the year.
“We are focusing on AAA content, but I can tell you that we might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year. I can’t tell you more.”
With E3 on the horizon, its possible that whatever mystery project Techland has for the Switch will be revealed during the conference. We will keep an eye out for more information, and bring the latest updates as they come.
