Telltale Games Is Closing Down

We have some grim news for fans of Telltale-developed titles on Nintendo Switch.

The studio, famous for its narrative games, has just announced that it will be shuttering its doors soon. Out of the company’s 250+ workers, only a small crew of 25 employees remain to wrap up the company’s affairs.

As seen above, Telltale will eventually reveal the fate of games that are still in development. This includes Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 for Nintendo Switch, which disappeared from physical and digital listings several months ago. Presently, it is also uncertain if Batman: The Enemy Within and remaining episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will still meet their respective release dates on Nintendo eShop.

We will be waiting to report more on Telltale Games’ plans when we learn more.
