Rain Games’ 2D platformer Teslagrad has finally hit the Nintendo Switch. The game that was previously released on the Wii U back in 2014 and as far as console versions go, it did the best on the Wii U.
Now Rain Games is out for a bid on the Switch market, the award-winning indie game hits the Nintendo Switch eShop at a price of $14.99. You can head on to the eShop to grab your copy now.
BERGEN, Norway, December 7, 2017 – Today is the day! Teslagrad, the indie hit that sold more than 1.6 million copies on PC and console, has landed on a new platform: Nintendo Switch. The title is now available worldwide on the eShop, with a MSRP of 14.99 $/€/£.
Set in a steampunk-inspired vision of old Europe, lose yourself in Teslagrad’s non-linear world of over 100 beautiful hand-drawn environments and challenging levels. Teslagrad has been praised by fans and critics alike for its beautiful art style, its clever silent storytelling and challenging gameplay. The title has also been nominated for two Nordic Game awards, including Best Game of the Year, and a Unity Award nomination for Best 2D Visuals.
Teslagrad is also available on PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U and Xbox One. The Wii U version, released in 2014, was the most profitable console version, as CEO Peter Meldahl revealed in an interview on Gamasutra.
