A few months back, a leak for Mortal Kombat 1 surfaced online hinting at the potential crossover DLC fighters being planned for the game, including Homelander from the comic book/TV series The Boys.
Recently, The Boys‘ official Tiktok account posted a video promo for an upcoming collaboration with Call Of Duty. In the comments for this video, one fan brought up the aforementioned rumor about Homelander potentially coming to Mortal Kombat. In response, the official account replied “MK Confirmed”, and in a follow-up reply, said that Homelander would be available in the game “at some point”, seemingly providing official confirmation that the rumor is true.
Aside from Homelander, other characters mentioned in the leak include DC Comics’ Peacemaker and Omni Man from Invincible. Netherrealm themselves have yet to make any official announcements regarding Mortal Kombat 1‘s DLC, but we will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
