The Coronavirus Could Continue To Affect Nintendo Switch Production This Summer

During the investors Q&A for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, Nintendo commented on the potential effects the coronavirus could have on production for various products.

As Nintendo Switch shortages continue in the world, Nintendo expects the coronavirus to have some impact on Nintendo Switch production all the way till summer 2020, as they may not be able to procure certain parts required for production.

In addition, the company believes that if the coronavirus outbreak goes on for a longer period of time, they will not be able to fulfill demand.

Nintendo also commented on Ring Fit Adventure, which has been hard to find since its launch in October 2019. Production for the popular fitness game and its accessory continues, and the company expects supply to meet demand in the marketplace in the future.
