Falcom has released a demo of the game in Japan, which you can download right now at no cost. Sadly, you’ll only be able to experience the demo is Japanese – but at least it will give players a feel for how the full game runs on Nintendo Switch.
For now, it’s unclear if western fans will get to enjoy a similar demo – as the game’s English localization is handled separately by NIS America. We’ll report back if we hear more in the future.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III for Switch will launch on 19 March 2020 in Japan. It will also be launching worldwide in Spring 2020.
