The Legend Of Zelda Manga Art Exhibition Announced For September In Kyoto

Legend of Zelda fans can soon savor some amazing artwork from the franchises’ manga stories!

Artist duo Akira Himekawa have announced an exhibition that will focus on artwork they have created for various Legend of Zelda manga adaptations. The exhibit is currently set to take place at the Kyoto International Manga Museum from 18 September 2021 to 26 December 2021.

However, these plans may change in view of  public health concerns over the country’s ongoing COVID-19 situation. Interested fans can follow the Kyoto International Manga Museum’s website for future updates.

Here’s the announcement below, along with one of Akira Himekawa’s art pieces.

For those unfamiliar with the female duo, Akira Himekawa have been working on The Legend of Zelda manga adaptations for over 20 years – starting with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in 1998. They would eventually go on to author manga adaptations for A Link to the Past and more, with most of their work also receiving English releases thanks to VIZ Media.
