It looks like Nintendo fans in Mainland China will soon get to enjoy new DLC courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as well.

Nintendo has announced that the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will also be getting a release in the region, with Wave 1 and Wave 2 launching altogether from 26 September 2022. This will add 16 DLC courses to the game at one go – including courses such as Paris Promenade, Tokyo Blur, and New York Minute included!

All 48 courses in the Booster Course Pass will launch in China by the end of 2024.

Aside from purchasing the Booster Course Pass digitally, folks in China can also purchase a physical redemption card. Alternatively, a physical package containing both a physical Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game cartridge and a redemption card for the Booster Course Pass will also be available:

We’ll report back if we hear more in the future. Stay tuned.
