The Mega Man Franchise Has Hit 38 Million Units Sold

In Capcom’s latest financial year results, the company shared an update on the sales performance of the beloved Mega Man series.

Namely, the franchise has now hit 38 million units sold cumulatively. This means that the franchise has sold an additional 1 million units since July 2021 (where its sales  numbered 37 million copies in total).

It remains to be seen how well the upcoming Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will sell when it launches in 2023. We’ll report back as we hear more in the future.
