The Monster Hunter Franchise Has Reached 84 Million Units Sold

In Capcom’s latest financial year results, the company shared some glowing figures for the Monster Hunter franchise!

Namely, the beloved series has now hit 84 million units sold in total, thanks in part to the ongoing success of Monster Hunter Rise – which has sold 10 million copies cumulatively to date. Out of that figure, Capcom also reported that the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC expansion has sold 3 million copies so far!

As things stand, it looks like the series is still going very strong – no doubt thanks to the recent Sunbreak DLC expansion and Monster Hunter Rise‘s sales performance on Switch and PC.

We’ll report back as we hear more in the future. Stay tuned!
