Nintendo has finally revealed official details about the opening of the Nintendo Museum.
During an official Direct presentation released today, the company shared that the Nintendo Museum will open in Japan on 2 October 2024. To enter the museum, visitors will have to reserve their tickets in advance, with reservations for October/November tickets awarded based on random drawing over here (an official Nintendo Account is required to join the random drawing). The deadline to join the drawing is 23:59 on 31 August 2024.
The Direct also featured Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto guiding viewers around the Museum’s exhibits. These include rooms full of Nintendo’s hardware/software releases, the company’s products before it developed videogames, and even interactive exhibits where visitors can interact with Nintendo’s past products in the modern day or play videogames with giant controllers.
