The Nintendo Switch Rating Of Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut Was Apparently An Error

Earlier this week, a mysterious Nintendo Switch listing for Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut popped up on the European videogame age rating board PEGI – fueling speculation that a Switch port of the title was indeed in the works. Well, we now have an unfortunate update on the situation.

According to GameSpot writer Gabe Gurwin, this listing of the game was apparently some sort of mistake. This was confirmed after speaking to a representative from 2K Games, which publishes the Borderlands series.

Following this, the PEGI rating for Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut has also removed any mention of a Nintendo Switch version (seen below):

Sadly, it looks like Nintendo Switch owners won’t be experiencing the third Borderlands game that soon. We’ll report back if that changes in the future.
