It looks like preparations are well underway for the Pokemon series’ big birthday next year.
During this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade featuring a Pikachu balloon – The Pokemon Company International unveiled a new 25th anniversary logo for the series. As seen above, it features a Pikachu face with “25” on its cheeks!
The Pokemon franchise first debuted in Japan with Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green on 27 February 1996. Its 25th anniversary will fall on 27 February 2021.
