The Rare Nintendo PlayStation Prototype Is Now Up For Auction, Current Bid Exceeds $200K

Last year, we reported that the very rare prototype of the Nintendo PlayStation would be going up for auction. Well, the bids have now commenced, and the console is looking pricier than ever!

While the auction opened up to an average price of around $31,000 a few hours ago, the latest bid has since spiked up to around $205,000! You can see this in the screenshot below, as at the time of writing:

With 21 days to go until the auction closes, we can expect the competition for this rare find to only escalate further. NintendoSoup will report back as we hear more in the future.

What do you think of this price for the defunct console prototype? How much YOU pay for it? Feel free to share with us below!
