This week, we told you about several Nintendo Switch placeholders that popped up on Amazon UK, leading some to speculate that a Nintendo Direct is on the way.
Upon further investigation, it appears that the placeholders on Amazon UK are exactly the same as the ones that appeared on Amazon US in 2017. They even have identical serial codes.
For instance, placeholder 18 on Amazon UK is actually Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Amazon US. In other words, these placeholders are at least 6 months old and are not an indication of a Nintendo Direct coming this month.
