The Switch Online Version Of Metroid (NES) Retains A Hilarious Error

It seems like the Switch Online service’s library of NES classics is turning out to be more faithful than expected.

Apparently, the recently-added Metroid retains a timeless glitch on Nintendo Switch. On the game’s password-entry screen, players can still input “ENGAGE RIDLEY, MOTHER F***ER” to crash the game!

It’s kind of a mystery why Nintendo left this issue in the game. Perhaps they are still trying to punish naughty words, in this modern day and age.
