It looks like Nintendo thought of a lot more than just fighters when developing amiibo support in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Tapping the Timmy and Tommy amiibo into the game doesn’t quite give you a figure player (FP). Instead, you’ll unlock the Timmy and Tommy spirit, plus a pretty awesome feature that doubles as an easter egg.
We don’t want to spoil anymore, so just check it out for yourself below.
It’s not clear if the Timmy and Tommy amiibo is the only way to unlock this feature, or if it opens up automatically through gameplay. In any case, it’s a pretty cool bonus for those that own the duo!
