Reddit user cssad has compiled a list of bestselling Nintendo franchises as of August 2019.
The list ranks Nintendo franchises from bestselling to worst in USD sales. The bestselling franchise of all time is still the Mario franchise at USD601 million. Coming in at second place is the Pokemon franchise at USD340 million, followed by the Wii series at USD202.57 million.
The worst selling franchise is the Xenoblade franchise at USD2.1 million, which shouldn’t be surprising as it is a relatively young series.
