Fan-Art: These Beautiful Mario And Luigi Statues Are Made From Drink Cans

The world of Super Mario fan-art just got much more metal.

Recently, gaming fans have been digging up the amazing handiwork of Japanese artist Makaon. In particular, she hosts a blog featuring her statues made entirely from recycled drink cans – which include metallic renditions of Mario and Luigi!


As you can see from the photos above, these statues use cans from all sorts of brands. For example, Mario’s cap is made from Coca Cola cans, while Luigi’s shirt sleeves come from Heineken beer cans!
