Video game developer and publisher THQ Nordic has agreed to acquire Koch Media for USD149.6 million.
The deal includes Deep Silver, Koch Media’s movie business, and development game studios that have worked on popular titles such as Saint Rows and Homefront. Although acquired, Koch Media will continue to be run as a separate entity Koch Media CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz will continue to manage the company, in exchange for THQ Nordic shares.
THQ Nordic believes the larger development and publishing capacity from Koch Media will help secure a more stable business and offer more flexibility.
