Toby Fox, the creator of Deltarune has shared a small update regarding the game’s development.
As shared on social media, Fox briefly discussed progress on using Gamemaker’s “game_change” feature, which is necessary for future chapters of the game to function correctly. He also says he is working on Chapter 5 “every day”, and that the next newsletter was planned for Late December 2024.
The previous major development update was in September 2024, where Fox said that Chapters 3 & 4 were complete aside from translation and polish, with most of the team moving on to Chapter 5’s development. Fox’s original plan was to have Chapters 3 & 4 launch as part of Deltarune‘s paid release, so we could see it arriving sometime soon.
