Developer Humanature Studios have recently released an update on the Toejam & Earl: Back In The Groove Kickstarter page, discussing sales data, and future updates for the game.
According to the sales data, Toejam & Earl: Back In The Groove has sold 25,000 units on Switch since it released at the start of March. This accounts for 40% of the games total sales on all platforms, and is more than double the units sold on Steam, Playstation and Xbox individually. This is quite an accomplishment, especially since the Switch version only launched just over 20 days ago.
In addition to sales data, Humanature Studios also shared the current road map for the game, most of it being bugfixes and quality of life changes. This includes fixing issues with the Switch version such as the game crashing when entering an elevator, as well as inconsistencies with loading saves. Those problems actually sound quite serious, so let’s hope that they are addressed soon.
