Traditional Chinese Pikachu Mascots Perform At Taipei Lantern Festival

In the capital city of Taiwan, thousands of people attended the opening ceremony of the Taipei Lantern Festival today.

Aside the large display of lanterns, six Pikachu mascots dressed up in Traditional Chinese costumes danced on stage, welcoming visitors to the festival. Liberty Times Net says the mascots were flown all the way from Japan.
