Yesterday, The Pokemon Company and Niantic kicked off February 2019’s Pokemon GO Community Day, which featured the Ice-type Pokemon Swinub.
In previous Pokemon GO Community Day events, trainers have complained about the low spawn rates of featured Pokemon during the 3 hour events. Looks like all of the feedback has worked as Niantic has drastically increased the spawn rate for the featured Pokemon this month to about 95%, as trainers encountered Swinub about 95% of the time.
This is a move welcomed by trainers everywhere, and hopefully it’ll stay the same way for future events.
