Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil has just launched for Nintendo Switch, but it seems it lacks one pretty big feature fans enjoyed in the original N64 version.
As it turns out, Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil for Switch does not support local multiplayer. For many who enjoy couch co-op, this is quite a huge omission, especially when this feature was present in the original N64 version of the game.
Speaking to Gamexplain, the developers had this to say about the lack of local multiplayer in the title:
Multiplayer is not in at this time. While we can’t address specific features or issues, we are planning on continuing to support and update this title as we do with all Nightdive games.
While this statement is still rather vague, it seems that local multiplayer might be added back in a future update to the game. We will continue to keep an eye out for future developments as they come.
