One month ago, Twitter began a playthrough of Pokemon Red within a user’s avatar.
After 40 days and 90k commands, the account’s owner Constantin Liétard has reported that Twitter has finally defeated Blue and become the Pokemon Champion. Notably, this victory comes less than a week after a group of trolls released most of Twitter’s Pokemon team.
At the time of this writing, it is not known whether Constantin Liétard will be moving the mob on to another Pokemon game, or if his short-lived experiment will be ending here. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
