The Pokemon Company is back with a new preview of the latest Pokemon TCG series!
Card game fans can now check out more details on the Reshiram & Charizard-GX and Lucario & Melmetal-GX cards below. Additionally, we also get holographic animations of the two cards – which simulate their foiled look.
Reshiram & Charizard-GX
Two winged wonders of the Pokémon world join forces to form an astonishing TAG TEAM. All three of Reshiram & Charizard-GX‘s attacks have the potential to do unreal damage, with Double Blaze-GX being the most potent—it can do 300 damage that isn’t affected by any effects on its target. This means Reshiram and Charizard-GX can even damage Pokémon that are otherwise immune to attacks from Pokémon-GX. To cap it off, this TAG TEAM starts with 270 HP, meaning it could keep torching your opponents for a long time after it enters battle.
Lucario & Melmetal-GX
Looking for an ironclad way to add both offense and defense to your game? Check out Lucario & Melmetal-GX, which delivers decent damage and long-term protection for your Metal-type Pokémon. The Heavy Impact attack can do a consistent 150 damage, and its rather heavy Energy requirement is offset by the TAG TEAM’s other attack, Steel Fist, which lets you search up Energy. Lucario & Melmetal-GXmakes an even more lasting impression with the Full Metal Wall-GX attack, which causes all of your Metal-type Pokémon to take 30 less damage from every attack your opponent throws at them for the rest of the game.
You can also check out the cards without their holographic animations over here. The two cards will be part of the upcoming ‘Unbroken Bonds‘ expansion, which launches globally on 3 May 2019.
