Serkan Toto, an industry analyst, has published some interesting statistics about the smartphone apps Nintendo has developed and published.
As of October 11, there are two Nintendo smartphone apps on the top grossing charts on the iOS App Store in Japan. This is the first time such a thing has happened. The apps are Fire Emblem Heroes at No. 4, and Dragalia Lost at No. 10.
A similar pattern can be found on Android’s Google Play store in Japan. Fire Emblem Heroes and Dragalia Lost are No. 6 and No. 4 respectively.
Meanwhile, Pokemon GO is still doing great, as it’s the No. 13 and No. 5 top grossing apps on the Japanese App Store and Play Store respectively.
