For a long time, Ubisoft has been one of the few companies that have been supportive of Nintendo’s consoles. Even during the Wii U’s days, Ubisoft was one of the first companies to jump in with ZombiU. The commitment to Nintendo’s console lives on.
In their latest financial call, CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, said that he was very happy with their games sales on the Switch and promises to put out more Switch games next year
“We will have some Switch games next year,” Yves Guillemot.
The comes as no surprise, the Switch had a strong showing this year. Even for Ubisoft, Switch games sales contributed to 19% of the company’s sales, just one percentage point below the four-year-old Xbox One. In any case, we all stand ready to hear what Ubisoft have up their sleeves next year.
