Udon Entertainment, the publishing arm behind many artbooks such as the Street Fighter Swimsuit Special Collection artbook, seem to have some exciting works on the horizon!
Near the end of the publisher’s Comic-Con@Home online presentation earlier this week, the company’s founder Matt Moylan teased that Udon would soon be working on books for the Shantae series – a project that was actually teased all the way back in 2018. It’s not clear at the moment if this teaser refers to a single artbook that covers every existing Shantae game, or if multiple artbooks are planned.
Right after that, Moylan also teased that Udon was also working on “a few books” for Mega Man, by showing off official art from the Mega Man Legends series. In fact, he emphasized that he was showing that particular image on purpose – so he could be teasing fans about an official Mega Man Legends artbook!
“We’re working on a few books for Mega Man and I chose this Mega Man image on purpose, so think about that.“
