Earlier this year, UK game retailer GameSeek fulfilled Nintendo Switch pre-orders at £198.50 (USD256), which was £80 (USD103) off the retail price in the United Kingdom.
The retailer sold it at such a low price because of speculation that the console would be sold at £199 (USD257) before anything was officially confirmed by Nintendo. Although the retail price turned out to be £279.99 (USD361), they decided to honor the deal to all of their customers, which they were probably losing money for every unit sold.
GameSeek is back offering the same low price of £198.50 to their customers. And they’re even offering Super Mario Odyssey for just £25.00 (USD32.22), close to half of the retail price.
It’s a big question mark how GameSeek is pulling this off, but we bet they have a huge budget set aside for this!
