Looks like gamers in Singapore will have to wait a few more weeks before playing Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. According to Singapore’s Nintendo distributor Maxsoft, the game’s release has been delayed to mid June 2017. It was originally scheduled for release on May 26th 2017.
Although the official reason given for the delay was “delay in shipment”, it is highly likely that due to the game’s release falling on the same period of time where Maxsoft is closed to conduct stock take, they are unable to provide an alternative way for retailers to receive the stock. Other notable delays which coincide with the annual late May to early June stock take include Splatoon (Wii U) in 2014.
If you are unable to wait it out, consider downloading the game from the Nintendo eShop when it launches globally on May 26th, 2017.
