Umihara Kawase Fresh! Not Available On The Switch eShop In The West

Today we have some really strange news surrounding Umihara Kawase Fresh!, which was released at retail in North America and Europe on July 9, 2019 by Nicalis.

A few months ago, G3 Success announced that Umihara Kawase Fresh! would be available worldwide as a digital release on Nintendo Switch. Then in March 2019, Nicalis confirmed they were handling publishing duties for the game in the west.

Two days ago, Nicalis released a physical version of the game at their official store. But the digital version was nowhere to be found on the Nintendo eShop, leading many to question the company on Twitter where in the world the game was as it’s been two days since its release date.

Until now Nicalis has not issued an official statement on the matter, so it’s only possible to purchase the game digitally via the Japanese region Nintendo eShop at this time.
