Universal Studios Japan Delays Opening Of Super Nintendo World From February 4th Date

A few months ago, we learned that Universal Studios Japan was planning to open Super Nintendo World on February 4th 2021, after several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately, as COVID-19 recently saw a resurgence in Japan due to a new variant and other related factors, Universal Studios Japan has since decided to delay the opening of the park even further, and it will not open on February 4th as originally planned. At the time of this writing, no new opening date has been announced for the park.

Although delaying the opening in the interests of public safety is the right call, some may understandably be quite disappointed with this turn of events. We will be sure to report back with more details about the park’s new opening date as they come.
