Nintendo has announced a collaboration with the public bath on the B1 floor of Tokyo Plaza Harajuku Harakado.
From February 17th to April 1st 2025, fans will be able to play with a set of Super Mario Hanafuda Cards at the public bath. Kosugiya, the managers of the location, believe that Hanafuda is a good fit for the atmosphere of the public bath, where people go to relax after a long day without putting on airs. It also harkens back to Nintendo’s past, where they got their start as a board and card game company that made Hanafuda cards.
The cards for this campaign feature various Super Mario characters, including Mario himself, Peach, Luigi, and more. These same cards are also sold at the Nintendo store.
