The NPD has released their sales data for the video game market in the United States for September 2018 to some members of the press.
According to leaked reports, Nintendo Switch sales were at 260,000 units in the US. That’s below the number of systems moved in September 2017, if we compare both on a year-on-year basis.
We do not know the actual reason behind the dip, but we speculate it could be the lack of major titles in September. We will bring you more information once the full NPD charts are released.
