Valkyria Chronicles 4 File Size Is 3 Times Smaller On Switch Than PS4

Today we have an interesting observation to report on Valkyria Chronicles 4’s file size.

On Nintendo Switch, the game will require 8.2GB of space. That is over 3 times smaller than the PlayStation 4 version, clocking in at 26.23GB.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as art assets on the Switch version are usually scaled down and there’s more optimization going on behind the scenes. Other notable examples include Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (which shrunk by four times).
