Video: How To Obtain All 70 Different Alcremie Forms In Pokemon Sword And Shield

Of all the strange new evolution methods introduced in Pokemon Sword And Shield, none of them are quite as complex and confusing as the one needed to evolve Milcery into Alcremie.

As many players know, Alcremie is a new Fairy Type Pokemon whose unique gimmick is that it comes in a wide variety of “flavors” each with a unique appearance. Around 70 different varieties of Alcremie exist, and which form the player’s Alcremie has is determined when it is evolved from its pre-evolution Milcery.

In order to evolve Milcery into Alcremie, the player must twirl on the spot using the control stick while their Milcery is holding one of seven possible “Sweet” items. The resulting Alcremie’s form is then decided by:

  • Which of the seven “sweet” items the Milcery was holding.
  • Whether the control stick was spun clockwise or counterclockwise.
  • How long the player character was twirling before they stopped.
  • Whether this was done during the Day or at Night.

If you are looking for a particular Alcremie form or just want to collect them all, understanding exactly how all this is supposed to work can be difficult and frustrating.

Luckily, Pokemon fansite Serebii not only has a visual guide explaining how to get each form of Alcremie, but Youtuber KyleAye has also created a video detailing the process.

You can find Serebii’s guide here, and KyleAye’s video below:
