Today we have an interesting story to share about legendary Nintendo game developer Shigeru Miyamoto and South Korea in 2012.
As you all know, Shigeru Miyamoto is a very busy person and rarely visits countries outside Nintendo’s biggest regions – Japan, North America, and Europe. But in 2012, Miyamoto visited South Korea, and there was a good reason for the visit.
The reason is Super Mario 3D Land. The 3D Mario game was released for Nintendo 3DS in November 11, but it took 5 months to localize the game for the Korean market. As Miyamoto felt bad about the delay, he wanted to personally apologize to the Korean audience, so traveled to South Korea to meet the fans.
