While Nicalis is handling Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap physical release in North America, Arc System Works is publishing it in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Besides differences in language, the Chinese cover’s background artwork looks slightly different to the North American version.
The Chinese copy apparently even uses Korean region game carts for unknown reasons, though it won’t really matter since Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap supports English, Chinese, and Korean.
