Square Enix’s Switch remaster of the Nintendo DS’s The World Ends With You will be published by Nintendo outside of Japan. The game was previously published by Square Enix themselves on the Nintendo DS.
The publishing details can be seen on the game’s Nintendo eShop page.
It is not sure what deal Nintendo cut out with Square Enix but in recent times, Nintendo seemed to be doing quite a bit of publishing for Square Enix. Even Square Enix’s upcoming Project Octopath Traveller will be published by Nintendo.
