World Of Final Fantasy Maxima Does Not Switch Resolutions When Docking And Undocking

An interesting observation has been made in the Nintendo Switch version of World of Final Fantasy Maxima.

According to ResetERA user bonkasaurus, for reasons unknown, World of Final Fantasy Maxima does not adjust its resolution whenever you dock or undock your Switch.

This means if you start the game in Handheld Mode and dock the system, it will look awful on the big screen. But, if you boot up the game in TV Mode and undock the system, it’s going to look way nicer in Handheld Mode.

For comparison’s sake, here’s how the game looks like when it starts in TV Mode:

How it looks like when you start it up in Handheld Mode, and then play in TV Mode:

The only way to force the game to adjust to the correct resolution is by restarting it. This will probably be fixed in a future patch.
