Homebrew developer Exelix11 has released the world’s first Super Mario Odyssey level editor called OdysseyEditor.
OdysseyEditor is still in early and experimental stages of development. Aspiring level creators can load levels, convert models to objects, edit and manipulate objects in levels, and save their edited levels. As there is currently no way to load patched files on Nintendo Switch, it is unknown whether levels made with OdysseyEditor work with the game.
If you’re interested to learn more, you can download OdysseyEditor and read up on its technical details here. You’ll need Windows 7, 8, 9 or 10 to run the program.
