A few days ago, Amazon Japan started taking pre-orders for the recently announced Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Official Soundtrack Deluxe Editions that were exclusive to the e-retailer.
Two Deluxe Edition variations were available – USB (which costs over 18000 yen), which was a highly limited release of 2000 pieces, and CD (costs over 8000 yen). More details on the Deluxe Editions can be found here.
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to purchase either Deluxe Edition now. Despite the high cost of the USB Deluxe Edition, it sold out within an hour on Amazon Japan. The CD Deluxe Edition, which wasn’t even considered a limited release, dried up in 2 days.
The only SKUs now left for pre-order are the regular CD edition (4000 yen) and digital edition (200 yen). Both do not come with any extra goodies that the Deluxe Edition have.
