Nintendo has updated their official website with the base file sizes for three of its upcoming releases on Switch.
The games that have been updated are Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, and Nintendo Switch Sports as follows:
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 ~ 15.0 GB
- In comparison, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was about 13.2GB, while Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition was about 13.7GB.
- Splatoon 3 ~ 6.0 GB
- In comparison, Splatoon 2 was 6.1 GB
- Nintendo Switch Sports ~ 1.4 GB
It should be noted that the final file sizes of digital games may vary post-release due to free updates, DLC, and such. That said, these figures should give players a rough idea of how much space they will need, as well as make a decision whether to purchase digital or physical.
