The official Japanese website for Xenoblade Chronicles X has seen its copyright notice updated to 2018.
Xenoblade Chronicles X was released on Wii U back in 2015, so it’s unclear why Nintendo or Monolith Soft have decided to update the copyright’s notice to 2018. Most companies wouldn’t bother to update the copyright notice for their games’ official websites, unless there are plans to port it to another system. Even Xenoblade Chronicles’ official site has been left untouched since 2015.
It’s too early to say whether the updated copyright notice points to a Switch release for Xenoblade Chronicles X, but we will keep a close eye at how things develop in the future.

Be still my heart......
I know that this game is coming to Switch.
Good find. Seems strange, perhaps an upcoming Direct could shed some light on this.
Sadly there isn't anything in this. A script in the website's code changes the copyright date to the year that your pc is currently set to. I just set my PC's date to 2017 and the copyright on the site went to 2017.
That copyright notice is just a Script that shows the current year. Even the page from 2014 shows 2018 now. They didn't update anything.
